Painting Days

On 15th March I posted the first version of this painting, with a comment that the background seemed too pale. I have added more colour in the middle distance of the picture which I believe gives a more balanced and pleasing effect.

    You fiddled! :)

    I must say, I am inclined to do the painting again but thin down some of the excess greenery. The more I look at mine, the more I want to simplify it - do you feel the same?

    I know what you mean Pat but I must say I'm much happier with this second version.
    It was a useful 'fiddle' this time, I believe.
