Imperial War Museum
Our visit to the Imperial War Museum proved to be very enjoyable and informative. This was a great improvement on our visit to the War Museum at Chelsea last Friday.
This tank was identified as 'Monty's Tank'
The Spitfires were very much in evidence. It gave a proud feeling to see them again.
There was much more information here, about the Korean War, than we had seen in last week's poor display.
An enjoyable extra was the Beetroot and Chocolate cake on sale in the cafe. I strongly recommend it to you.

It looks like a good day for a visit in the first photo, Beryl - and I'm glad the experience was better than the Chelsea one!
ReplyDeleteWill you be making any paintings from the photos you took?
I doubt it Pat. My photo's are all too complex.
