A recent purchase of mine was a 'Ready to Paint' book of Cezanne's pictures by Michael Sanders.  I was particularly drawn to the Vase of Tulips, so took advantage of the provided tracing but used the exercise as a way to practise my colour mixing, working from the large picture but without referring to the detailed instructions that were included. Also I was using watercolour paints not acrylics.
It was great fun to paint and I'm particularly pleased with how accurate the finished colours are.

  1. What a beauty it turned out too!
I hope you're going to frame and hang this one. xx

  2. Thanks Pat, you never know I may just do that!!
