What beautiful views we had whilst visiting Holme Lacey. Driving conditions were too difficult to go far, due to the severe frost, but who needs to drive with views like this from the hotel grounds?

I'd need your help with that Pat, how to paint such a heavy frost with watercolours. I wondered about using gouache.
ReplyDeleteMake the picture large and then squint! How much detail can you really see? You don't need to paint every finger of frost, you know :) xx
